Chase of Choices by Hari Parameshwar

Chase of Choices by Hari Parameshwar**** I received this book as a giveaway from the author******
Nothing is more exciting than a Goodreads-giveaway, and if it's an autographed copy then that's like icing on my chocolate cake. It was completely unexpected and I am thankful to Dr. Hari Parameshwar.

Warning to all readers: This book is like a drug, once you start reading you just can't stop. I myself was so tempted to finish the book that I ended up reading it till 3:00 am in the morning and ever-since the anxiety to express what I felt is making me go mad! So, the first thing I decided today was to post my review.

Ravi Raj Nambiar is a divorcee with two kids and is in search of a wife who can take care of his family. He registers himself on a matrimonial site under the pressure of closed ones and understanding the needs of his children. And, finally ends up with an emotional turmoil within himself between of the choices he makes; hence the name chase of choices

Raj is a very mature, sensible and organised man yet the horrific past has left scars in his heart which has created an insecure void in his mind and soul due to which he is scared to move ahead. At this point he meets this women name Olivia and ends up developing feelings towards her.

Olivia is an american women with a complicated past which still interferes with her present. And Raj has to make a decision which involves the happiness of his children as well as Olivia and her children.

When one is looking for a life-partner through such channels (internet portal) and after a series of rejections, one possible hope can compel a person to feel that THIS IS IT! He/She is the one! The same happened with the characters of this book, intentionally or unintentionally.

It is a wonderful book and everyone who is looking for a life-partner irrespective of age and sex must read it. The kind of problems one can face and the choices we make, decides our fate. This book is like a roller-coaster of emotions and I believe every person at certain point has been in such a situation- "to make the right choice"; some must have failed and some have succeeded but then it is a tough job to make the right choice.

The best thing about this book were the philosophical/psychological perspectives given at the end of every chapter explaining the roller-coaster ride a human being goes through and Raj was facing the same.
Each word, each sentence was very carefully chosen and very tactfully written.

I rate this book 5 stars.

One little disappointment I felt towards the end but its entirely personal, I always believe in happy endings and I was really hoping Raj to have a happy ending towards the end... Anyways! enjoyed reading!!
